I no longer use my spirometer, how do I discard it?

When you no longer need your personal spirometer (lung function meter), here’s the best way to dispose of it:

  1. Reconsider: You can always keep your digital spirometer for some time in case you need to check your lung function values again, especially if you anticipate recurring lung issues.
  2. Remove the batteries: If you’re certain about discarding your spirometer, we kindly ask that you first remove the batteries and place them in a battery case for separate recycling. This ensures the safe disposal of both the device and the batteries.
  3. Recycle responsibly: Please dispose of the spirometer as electronic waste.

By recycling your spirometer and its batteries properly, you’re contributing to a more environmentally friendly and sustainable approach to electronic waste management. Thank you for your responsible handling of the equipment.
