How do I create an account for my child?

If your child does NOT have BankID

If the child does not have their own BankID, they need an invitation from their clinic to create an account. Once the clinic has sent an invitation, you can follow these steps:

1. Install the AsthmaTuner app on the device your child will use
2. Click the link in the SMS invitation from your clinic, or select 'Create account' in the app
3. Select 'With clinic code' and fill in the code from the SMS invitation
4. Fill in the child’s information (Social security number, name and password).
5. Enter the phone number you want to use for the account, and add an additional backup verification number if needed. If the child does not have their own phone number, you can fill in your phone number instead.
6. Verify the phone number by inputting the code sent by SMS.
7. Accept the Terms of use and Privacy policy
8. Accept the invitation to connect with the child's clinic
9. All done!

If your child has BankID

If they have BankID they can create an account for themselves.

1. Ask them to download the AsthmaTuner app on the phone they want to use the tools on
2. Select ‘Create account’ and "With BankID"
3. Fill in the child’s social security number and verify with their BankID app
4. Fill in their name and email (if they don’t have their own email, they can use their guardian’s email)

Following your child's results

The healthcare provider may have added you as a guardian for the child when creating the invitation. In this case you will receive a guardian invitation over SMS guiding you to create your own AsthmaTuner account.

Once the account is created, you will be asked to accept the invitation to follow your child. This way you can view your child's results from your own account, but you can't manage their account or do tests for them from your account.

If the healthcare provider did not add you as a guardian, you can be invited as a follower from your child's account by going to 'Connected accounts' and pressing 'Invite follower'.
