Setting up a child account

To set up a child account for your patient, you can follow these steps:

Send an invitation

Create a new invitation in Careportal and add the child’s social security number. Select the relevant tools. If you add a phone number, a welcome SMS will be sent to the patient instructing them to download the AsthmaTuner app.

If the child does NOT have BankID

If the child does not have their own BankID, a guardian needs to create the account for them, using the guardian’s BankID.

  1. On the guardian’s phone, download the AsthmaTuner app. Tap create account and select ‘For someone else’.
  2. The guardian verifies their own identity with BankID
  3. Fill in the child’s information (Social security number, name, phone number and password). If the child does not have their own phone number, fill in the guardian’s phone number instead.
  4. Verify the phone number by inputting the code sent by SMS
  5. Select if the child has their own phone or if you want to continue setting up on the guardian’s phone. In both cases the guardian account will be automatically set up to follow the child account.

If using the child’s phone

Install the AsthmaTuner app on the child’s phone and log in with SMS. Fill in the child’s social security number, previously created password and SMS code.

If using the guardians phone

Log in with SMS, fill in the child’s social security number and previously created password. You can now use the child account on the guardian’s phone.

To access the guardian account at a later stage you need to sign out from the child account and sign in with the guardian’s social security number and BankID.

If the child has BankID

If they have BankID they can create an account for themselves.

  1. Ask them to download the AsthmaTuner app on the phone they want to use the tools on
  2. Select ‘Create account for myself’
  3. Fill in the child’s social security number and verify with their BankID app
  4. Fill in their name and email (if they don’t have their own email, they can use their guardian’s email)

If the guardian wants to follow the child’s progress on a separate phone, they need to be invited to follow the account. Learn more about how to invite followers.
