Asthma Day, or World Asthma Day, takes place on the first Tuesday of May each year – which in 2025 falls on May 6!
The day is organized by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) and aims to raise awareness about asthma, improve care, and spread knowledge to the public.
At MediTuner, we naturally want to highlight this important day! Together with the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association, we’re hosting an event at Ringens Centrum in Södermalm, Stockholm.
From 11:30 to 17:30, everyone is welcome to stop by to test their lung function, talk about asthma, or just say hi!

We are thrilled to announce that TLV has decided to reimburse AsthmaTuner for all individuals with uncontrolled asthma in Sweden, meaning that the reimbursment will now also apply to adults! The decision takes effect on October 3rd, which means that from that day forward, you can prescribe AsthmaTuner’s spirometer to all your patients with uncontrolled asthma.
